Exterior
With functional sliding doors (available on both sides) and an optional trailer coupling, you can customise the exterior of the eCitan according to your requirements. The LED High Performance headlamps and the Dynamic Package ensure an even more attractive appearance.
Interior
The eCitan Panel Van is designed to support your daily tasks with features like the MBUX multimedia system optimised for electric driving and the option of wireless charging for convenience. It also includes robust partitions and panelling for secure transportation of goods, and LED lighting in the load compartment for improved visibility, ensuring efficiency and safety in your workday. The eCitan Crew also offers a wide range of options: its flexible partition can be folded down to form a bench seat for up to 3 people.

Charging and range
Enjoy the ease of electric driving with the eCitan Panel or Crew Van. Thanks to its electric drive system, it is perfectly suited for city centres - at the same time, the high-voltage battery offers sufficient range for moderate tours and journeys into the surrounding area.
The battery does not restrict the load capacity compared to the Citan panel van. The eCitan Panel Van in vehicle length L1 and the eCitan Crew are the only variants unable to accommodate a spare wheel under the load compartment floor.
2 different drive programs and 3 recuperation levels assist you in maintaining an efficient driving style. Both functions enable you to optimise your electrical consumption and thus the range of your electrically powered van.
The standard mode "D" with a maximum deceleration of -1m/s² most closely resembles the driving performance of the Citan Panel Van with an internal combustion engine. The "D+" mode with a maximum deceleration of -0.5 m/s² allows relaxed driving and coasting. With a maximum deceleration of -1.5m/s², the "D-" mode has the greatest braking effect and allows one-pedal driving, i.e. the control of acceleration and deceleration solely by pressing and releasing the accelerator pedal. In this case, the deceleration effect cannot replace the service brake and the driver must still use the brake pedal to brake. The recuperation levels are selected via the automatic selector lever.
The range of your Mercedes-Benz electric van depends on the vehicle’s configuration. Actual range is also influenced by individual driving style, road and traffic conditions, outside temperature, and the use of climate control, heating, and other electrical equipment. The power display and recuperation modes also assist in using the battery charge efficiently, to maximise range.
The eCitan Panel & Crew Van are both supplied with a 3-phase charging cable. A single-phase charging cable can also be ordered on request. The flexible charging system, combining several different phase connectors in a single, convenient set, is suitable for many different charging situations and can be obtained from your Mercedes-Benz Dealer. Should you have any questions, your Mercedes-Benz Dealer will be happy to assist you.
The battery is included in the purchase price. This means that there are no additional costs for battery rental. The financial risk of exchanging a battery when your battery capacity diminishes drastically is covered by the Battery Capacity Warranty, included as standard. The version valid for max. 100,000 miles (160,000 km) or 8 years from initial registration is included as standard. Safety and driver assistance systems
The safety concept of the eCitan Panel & Crew Van includes various active and advanced safety and driver assistance systems, enabling it to achieve a Euro NCAP five star rating in 2025, meaning it provides the highest level of commercial van safety. Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Assist B and ATTENTION ASSIST are already included as standard. Depending on the intended use, you can select additional optional assistance systems. The 6 standard airbags can reduce injuries in the event of a collision.
