FAQs
From the 1st March 2024, Mercedes-Benz Tyre Insurance will no longer be available to purchase. Mercedes-Benz GAP Insurance has not been sold since 1st November 2023.
Mercedes-Benz Dealers can choose which insurance policies they wish to sell. GAP Insurance and Tyre Insurance are optional policies, and every Dealer and online insurer will provide differences in cover. Please make sure you read through the features and benefits to understand what cover is provided and if they meet your needs.
Providing you’ve made no claims on the policies, you’ll be able to cancel the policies and be provided a pro rata refund. Cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee; this is outlined in your policy schedule, along with how to cancel the insurance.
Speak to your Dealer where you purchased the insurance and they’ll be able to provide you another copy for you. If they are unable to locate the policy wordings please email the Mercedes-Benz Insurance Services team on help.insurance@mercedes-benz.com.
We realise that things can go wrong and there may be occasions when you feel that we’ve not provided the service you expected. When this happens we want to hear about it so that we can try to put things right. It’s important you know that we’re committed to providing you with an exceptional level of service and customer care.
If your complaint is about the way the policy was sold to you, you should contact your Dealer who sold the policy to you.
If your complaint is about a claim or the administration of the policy, you should read the complaint information within your policy wordings to understand how each insurer needs to receive the complaint.
