Finance Fact Sheet
The Direct Sales Centre is part of Mercedes-Benz Finance. Our aim is to provide the most suitable form of funding for you, and where appropriate, your business. This is achieved by asking qualifying questions, walking you through a Decision Tree and giving you all the information needed to make an informed financial decision. This will include the correct finance product, agreement length and mileage to best suit your requirements along with all the small print associated with our finance options listed below:

Once you have chosen the best form of funding, we will need to take your personal details to arrange your finance facility. When finance approval has been given, you will need to sign your contract and supply us with photographical-identification - this can be done visiting your supplying Dealer. Your finance contract will be activated when all of the paperwork has been returned and checked by the finance company. Check your payment profile with your Business Manager or Dealer for when monthly payments will begin. Regular monthly payments will normally start a month after activation (some products immediately).
Failure to make a payment
Failure to make your payments under the terms of this agreement may have serious consequences and could lead to difficulties obtaining credit in the future. Failure to make payments on time will result in Mercedes-Benz Finance serving you with a default notice. If you fail to pay monies owing to them within the time period specified, they may terminate your agreement and repossess the vehicle which will mean you will have to compensate them for any loss including interest payable on late payments. Failure to pay may lead to court proceedings and a charge over your home to secure any judgement; it may even lead to an application for possession. A charge of £10 will be made each time your account goes into arrears and we write to you. If we send a default notice the charge for this will be £12.50.

In order to process your application we will supply your personal information to credit reference agencies
(CRAs) and they will give us information about you, such as about your financial history. We do this to
access creditworthiness and product suitability, check your identity, manage your account, trace and recover debts and prevent criminal activity.
We will also continue to exchange information about you with CRAs on an ongoing basis, including aboutyour settled accounts and any debts not fully repaid on time. CRAs will share your information with other
organisations. Your data will also be linked to the data of your spouse, any joint applicants or other financial associates.
