With this Digital Extra, you can make sure that the suggested route is suitable for your van's dimensions before you set off. Whether high roof, extra-long body, trailer or increased payload – the relevant vehicle and, if applicable, trailer dimensions are already taken into account during route planning. This process will exclude routes that are unsuitable for you owing to height restrictions, the radius of bends, road width and other parameters.

Tips for using this Digital Extra.

You can use the practical Send2Car function to share navigation destinations with your drivers. It works like this: in the Mercedes-Benz App, you enter the navigation destination and receive a route that takes the vehicle and, if applicable, trailer dimensions into account. Use the app to send the route straight to the MBUX multimedia system in your van. You or your driver can then start the navigation from there.

Navigation for Trailers and Oversized Vehicles is only available for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (model series 907/910 from 02/2022 onwards) with MBUX multimedia system and Navigation. Software version NTG6 FUP4 is required in order to use the Digital Extra to the full extent. The corresponding software update (for model series 907/910 before 02/2022) can be carried out at an authorised Mercedes-Benz workshop for a fee.
