AMG front apron
Assured style: even at first glance, the AMG-specific A-shape radiator grille of the new Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+ plus the updated front apron with special chrome front splitter and modified air intakes are particularly striking. The new design of the flat LED headlamps is similarly unmistakable.
New rear view
Most road users will rarely see any other view of the car, anyway. The new rear view, thanks to tail lights with a new inside design, the new rear apron with diffuser and the selectable AMG exhaust system with specific round twin tailpipe trim elements, is compelling from any angle.
New AMG light-alloy wheels
The exterior design of the Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+, with its expressive AMG bodystyling, makes a dynamic statement even when the car is at a standstill. Distinctive details such as the new aerodynamically optimised 48.3 cm (19-inch) AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels serve to accentuate the vehicle's performance aspirations.

Touchpad in the centre console
The touchpad allows you to control the display of the MBUX as you would with a smartphone. Further control elements are arranged around the display panel, giving you direct access at any time to important functions such as the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs, vehicle functions, navigation or telephony.
AMG Performance seats
AMG Performance seats in black/titanium grey pearl nappa leather with red contrasting topstitching are available on request for a sporty, exclusive ambience in the interior of the Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+. The driver and front passenger will find a safe seating position, even with a dynamic driving style, thanks to the improved lateral support.
Digital cockpit
Visually speaking, the two screens for the instrument cluster and multimedia displays merge behind a single panel to create the Widescreen Cockpit. For the instrument cluster, the customer can switch between the three AMG display styles of "Modern Classic", "Sport" and "Supersport". The "Supersport" mode, with its central round rev counter and bar graph-type additional information displays to the left and right of the rev counter, is particularly striking.

AMG DYNAMICS
The dynamic handling control system AMG DYNAMICS is an integral part of the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs. In the stages "Basic", "Advanced" and "Pro", for example, it influences the control strategies
of the ESP® (Electronic Stability Program) or of the all-wheel drive system. Based on the actions of the driver and on sensor data, the intelligent pre-control system anticipates the desired handling behaviour in a range between extremely stable and highly dynamic. The AMG steering wheel buttons can also be used to select the AMG DYNAMICS functions on an individual basis.
AIRPANEL
Less wind resistance and intelligent thermal management for the engine – the AIRPANEL radiator shutters are integrated into the radiator grille and front apron.
The system responds according to the situation and completely automatically: the parameters include the speed, the requirements of the fan and the coolant and air temperature.
AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package
The optional AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package stands for maximum driving pleasure and maximum agility. It creates an attractive package out of numerous technical and visual equipment details
that until now were the preserve of the eight-cylinder models. The highlights here include the RACE drive program with Drift mode, which eenhancesthe emotional draw of the driving experience.
AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G
The AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission, fitted as standard, combines efficiency, dynamism and safety. Its extremely short shift times, fast reaction to shift-paddle commands, double-declutching function
and multiple downshifts are particularly impressive. In the "Sport+" drive program and manual mode, in particular, the transmission is very spontaneous in its response.
