It's easy to charge your EQA with flexibility and transparency while out and about - whether in the city, at shopping centres or on motorways, and even across national borders. In addition, MB.CHARGE Public provides access to IONITY's high-performance quick-charging stations. On longer journeys, simply leave the planning of optimal charging stops to the Navigation with Electric Intelligence. This is how easy and convenient it is to switch to fully electric driving with the new EQA.

Navigation with Electric Intelligence offers you the greatest possible planning reliability on the road. This system links various pieces of information such as a fast and convenient route, the current battery charge state, weather data and charging infrastructure. The perfect features for the changeover to fully electric driving with the new EQA.

Go to the charging station. Insert the plug. Charge. Remove the plug. Off you go. Charging is that easy with Plug & Charge. For authentication via Plug & Charge, there is no longer the need for manual authentication via charging card, app or MBUX. Communication between the charging station and the vehicle takes place automatically via the MB.CHARGE Public charging contract recorded for the vehicle. If Plug & Charge is available for your vehicle, you can activate the service in your services overview in the Mercedes me App or the Mercedes me portal. An active MB.CHARGE Public charging contract is required in order to use Plug & Charge.

Energy and range at a glance: range maximisation offers you several functions to help save energy. You can save energy by switching off the comfort functions, for example. This increases the range of the EQA.

Thanks to streaming, your favourite songs are always available - and you can now also access them directly via the MBUX multimedia system. Choose between your preferred music streaming providers and listen to your favourite songs and playlists in high quality.

There are no weather conditions that can make you lose control: the 4MATIC  all-wheel drive ensures dynamic driving on paved roads and the best possible traction in off-road conditions. This applies in both dry and wet conditions as well as on mud, gravel, snow or ice.

Turn the stress of parking in tight spaces into a smooth and effortless procedure. Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC  finds parking spaces for you and assists you when entering and exiting a parking space. It helps you with steering and also with accelerating and braking.

Park and manoeuvre confidently and conveniently: the 360-degree camera provides you with all-round visibility and a bird's-eye view. This allows you to confidently tackle narrow, awkward and complex parking situations. Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC supports you in searching for a parking space, as well as in entering and exiting a bay parking space.

GUARD 360° Vehicle Protection provides all-round monitoring of the vehicle's surroundings with features such as the anti-theft alarm system with tow-away protection. Movements in the interior trigger visual and audio warnings. The collision detection function of Mercedes me keeps you informed via the app.

Activate the system once and continually benefit from the long headlamp range. Whenever Adaptive Highbeam Assist does not register any vehicles in front of you or any oncoming traffic, it switches on the high beam. This means that you can see the roadway or any hazards more clearly. Furthermore, there is no need for you to keep switching between high beam and dipped beam.

Active Steer Assist offers you a noticeable increase in comfort at the wheel: the system can help you to keep your vehicle in the centre of the lane by means of gentle steering interventions. This ensures a high degree of stress relief, particularly on monotonous routes with long straight sections or slight bends.

The future is in your hands – the new steering wheel connects you with the vehicle and becomes the control centre. Various navigation, telephony or entertainment functions can be operated using the control elements. You can also set the speed or distance control here.

Showcase the interior according to your personal preferences or current mood. Ambient lighting gives you almost unlimited possibilities for light staging. In addition, both screens can be displayed with the ambient lighting in ten colour worlds.

This means that you always have the key information right in front of you. Your full attention remains on the road and the traffic ahead of you.

The Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC takes a lot of work off your hands and automatically controls the distance from the vehicle in front. The route-based speed adjustment also significantly extends the range of applications. If the vehicle is approaching a bend, for example, the system reduces the vehicle speed as a proactive measure and then automatically accelerates to the speed set by you once you've navigated the bend and ensuring a sufficient distance to the driver in front.

Speed Limit Assist makes it easy for you to follow the rules and avoid unnecessary speeding tickets. The system shows what is permitted: it uses the camera to detect the current speed limit and displays it in the driver display. It also detects additional restriction signs in specific weather situations such as wet conditions.

This assistant can help to avoid collisions with vehicles driving in front or stationary vehicles, with oncoming traffic when making a turn and with moving pedestrians as well as cyclists. Along with distance and collision warnings, the system primarily offers situation-appropriate braking assistance, including performing an emergency stop if necessary.

Active Lane Keeping Assist is an attentive observer: if you unintentionally leave your lane or get dangerously close to other road users, the system can bring you back into your lane by means of a steering intervention. If you still leave the lane, however, an additional warning will follow in the form of a steering wheel vibration.

Blind Spot Assist takes a very close look around for you – in particular when you activate the turn indicator. The system is able to give you a visual and audible warning of potential side collisions with other road users in your blind spot. After your trip, the system remains alert and warns you if you’re about to open the door at the wrong time.

Expand your transport options: With this practical equipment feature, you can hook up a trailer or caravan or fit a bicycle rack. The trailer hitch is ready for use in no time at all – and can be folded in behind the rear bumper just as quickly when it is no longer needed.

Driving exactly how you like it. With DYNAMIC SELECT, you can activate the energy-efficient drive programme "ECO" at the touch of a button and thereby extend your range. The steering wheel shift paddles can also be used to adjust the recuperation of braking energy. Sport mode, on the other hand, makes the terrific power of the electric motors available for an even more lively performance.
