AMG-specific radiator trim
The imposing hallmark AMG radiator grille lends the front design of the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupé a powerful look. The grille is flanked by the side air inlets with cross fins. These provide for an optimum airflow to the cooling modules – their functional design is familiar from motorsport.
AMG Performance exhaust system
Three variably exhaust system flaps adjust the sound of the AMG sports exhaust system to the drive programme chosen by the driver. The driver can additionally change the sound characteristics at the touch of a button. This allows a maximum spread of the sound, from comfortable to highly emotive. Two chrome-plated twin tailpipes in V8 design add distinctive highlights.
AMG high-performance brake system
The shortest stopping distances and immediate deceleration come naturally to the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupé, which is equipped with a weight-optimised, fading-resistant AMG high-performance composite braking system. An AMG ceramic high-performance composite braking system is optionally available. This system brings weight savings of over 20 percent, resulting in reduced unsprung masses and enhanced driving dynamics, agility and driving comfort.

AMG instrument cluster
In the AMG Widescreen Cockpit, the capabilities of the S 63 Coupé are highlighted by additional information on engine/transmission oil temperature, charge-air pressure or instruments such as the G-meter and Race Timer. The speedometer scale, which is extended to 330 km/h, also clearly highlights the potential of the V8 biturbo engine.
AMG Performance steering wheel
Its sporty design and the unique touch and feel make the AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather one of a kind. Touch Control buttons allow intuitive control of most functions. Innovative: the optional AMG steering wheel buttons enable fast and assured control of specific dynamic driving functions.
AMG seats
The newly developed AMG seats with electric adjustment, Memory function and seat heating offer optimum lateral support for the driver and front passenger. Fine nappa leather in AMG V8 design with piping and AMG badges on all four backrests and the embossed AMG emblem on the armrest at the front of the centre console conjure up an exquisite atmosphere on board.

AMG 4.0-litre biturbo V8 engine.
The AMG 4.0-litre biturbo engine in the AMG S 63 4MATIC+ Coupé delivers an output of 450 kW (612 hp) and 900 Nm[1] of torque. Consistent application of the "AMG Lightweight" Performance strategy also contributes to the vehicle's high driving dynamics and low fuel consumption. At 4.2 seconds, acceleration from 0 to 62 mph is faster than with any other luxury performance coupé. The engine features the proven biturbo design in which the two turbochargers are located in the V between the cylinder banks rather than on the outside – an arrangement which specialists refer to as the "hot inside V".
AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G.
The AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G offers ideal support for a particularly dynamic driving style and lends authentic motorsport flair to every trip. Fast, sporty gear changes or comfortable, barely noticeable shifting, according to the selected driving mode: the 9 gears ensure that the engine is particularly frequently in the ideal speed range.
The AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G with wet start-off clutch offers an outstanding combination of efficiency, dynamics and safety. In view of the high levels of torque to be handled, to ensure signature AMG stability the transmission is provided with a high-tech magnesium housing and various reinforcing measures.
AMG Performance exhaust system.
A special acoustic experience comes courtesy of the variable-sound AMG Performance exhaust system. The variably adjustable exhaust flaps give you the option to change the sound of the vehicle at the press of a button.
Depending on the drive program, the sound characteristics change from unobtrusive comfort through to maximum emotive appeal.
