Driving Assistance package Plus

These supplementary safety and assistance systems can take the strain off the driver, reduce the risk of accidents, and improve protection both for vehicle occupants and other road users.

The package extends the Driving Assistance package by the PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side system. This can give the driver or front passenger a gentle impulse away from the danger zone when a side impact threatens, by instantly inflating the special air chamber in the outer seat side bolster.

Head-up Display

The Head-Up display provides the driver with important information, without the driver having to take his/her eyes off the traffic.

It projects a virtual image (approx. 21 x 7 cm) within the driver's field of vision. This image appears to float above the bonnet around 2 metres in front of the driver.

MULTIBEAM LED

MULTIBEAM LED allows extremely fast and precise adaptation of the headlamps to the current traffic conditions. Individually controllable LEDs in each headlamp allow the light to be activated precisely where it is needed.

The ULTRA RANGE high beam ensures wide and practically dazzle-free road illumination. The LEDs are partially switched off when oncoming traffic or vehicles ahead are detected.
