      If you’re driving your car in the EU you might need a Green Card (proof of motor insurance cover when driving outside of the UK) depending on where in the EU you are driving. It can take up to two weeks to process the request, so if you’re heading abroad, call us as soon as you can on 0345 600 2180.

    Claiming on your Tyre and Alloy insurance won’t affect the No Claims Bonus on your motor insurance as you don’t need to report these claims to them.

    Claiming on your Tyre and Alloy insurance won’t affect the No Claims Bonus on your motor insurance as you don’t need to report these claims to them.

      • Making a claim.

        Making a claim.

        You have 30 days from noticing the damage to report a claim, and there is an excess of £25 per corner of the vehicle. To make a claim, your tyre needs to have over 2mm in tread depth across 75% of the width of the tyre and the damage caused by accidental or malicious damage to either the tyre or alloy.

        Your alloy will be replaced with a remanufactured wheel that meets our standard. If there isn’t one available, a brand new alloy will be covered, up to your claims limit set in the policy. 

      • Out-of-hours problems.

        Out-of-hours problems.

        If your tyre needs replacing out of hours, head to your nearest tyre shop and replace it with an ‘A Grade’ tyre, then send the invoice to our administrators. They’ll reimburse you up to £300, including VAT.

      • Cancelling your Tyre and Alloy insurance.

        If you want to cancel within the first 30 days, head back to your Retailer. They’ll cancel it for you and arrange a refund, if you haven’t made a claim yet.

        If you want to cancel after the 30 days, contact our administrators on 0127 945 6507. There’ll be a £35 admin fee that needs to be paid prior to any refund.

        • Making a claim.

          Making a claim.

          You have 30 days from noticing the damage to report a claim. The damage will be repaired by a Daimler Insurance Services Approved Mobile Repairer or supporting Retailers Self Repair Booth.

          If the damage is too severe for minor damage techniques, we’ll contribute up to £250 towards a body shop repair.

          If you want to cancel within the first 30 days, head back to your Retailer. They’ll cancel it for you and arrange a refund, if you haven’t made a claim yet.

            You can transfer your remaining GAP Insurance cover to a new vehicle, subject to terms & conditions – your Retailer will be able to assist with this. There is also a £35 fee to pay.
