Your fully comprehensive monthly subscription policy will continue until you choose to cancel. This policy is designed for your Mercedes-Benz to give you total peace of mind. You can make changes, renew and cancel all without charges through your account, and your price is guaranteed for 12 months.
You may cancel the policy at any time before and during the period of insurance. If you wish to do this, please cancel your policy within your account. If you cancel the policy, we will refund the amount you have paid for the unused period of insurance except where an incident has occurred which has or may result in a claim.
Our aim is to get it right, first time, every time. If you believe that we’ve not delivered the service you expected, we want to hear from you so that we can address your complaint.

General Ancillary Insurance
For Mercedes-Benz GAP Insurance, you have 90 days from your vehicle collection date to purchase. For Mercedes-Benz Minor Damage and Mercedes-Benz Tyre & Alloy Insurance, you have 30 days from your vehicle collection and the vehicle must be inspected prior to purchase.
With effect from the 1st November 2023, Mercedes-Benz Insurance Services UK removed GAP Insurance from sale.
With effect from the 1st March 2024, Mercedes-Benz Insurance Services UK removed Minor Damage & Tyre & Alloy wheel Insurance from sale.
From the 1st March 2024, Mercedes-Benz Minor Damage Insurance and Mercedes-Benz Tyre & Alloy Wheel Insurance will no longer be available to purchase. Mercedes-Benz GAP Insurance has not been sold since 1st November 2023.
Mercedes-Benz Showrooms can choose which insurance policies they wish to sell. GAP, Minor Damage and Tyre & Alloy Wheel are optional policies, and every Showroom and online insurer will provide differences in cover. Please make sure you read through the features and benefits to understand what cover is provided and if they meet your needs.
Speak to your Showroom where you purchased the insurance and they’ll be able to provide you another copy for you. If the Showroom is unable to locate the policy wordings please email the Mercedes-Benz Insurance Services team on help.insurance@mercedes-benz.com.
We realise that things can go wrong and there may be occasions when you feel that we’ve not provided the service you expected. When this happens we want to hear about it so that we can try to put things right. It’s important you know that we’re committed to providing you with an exceptional level of service and customer care.
If your complaint is about the way the policy was sold to you, you should contact your Showroom who sold the policy to you.
If your complaint is about a claim or the administration of the policy, you should read the complaint information within your policy wordings to understand how each insurer needs to receive the complaint.

Mercedes-Benz GAP Insurance
Please note Mercedes-Benz Insurance Services UK stopped selling Mercedes-Benz GAP Insurance from 1st November 2023.
If your vehicle is up to £75,000 at time of purchase, your claim limit will be up to the purchase price on your vehicle invoice. If your vehicle is £75,001 to £240,000 then your claims limit will be up to the maximum amount of £50,000. To find out more please refer to your policy.
Our GAP Insurance has been designed to cover in the event that your vehicle is stolen. This includes claims for if your vehicle is written off and not replaced by your motor insurance, fire, flood and road collisions – fault or non-fault. To find out more please refer to your policy wordings.

Mercedes-Benz Minor Damage Insurance
Please note Mercedes-Benz Insurance Services UK stopped selling Mercedes-Benz Minor Damage Insurance from 1st March 2024.
You can claim as many times as needed, up to the total claims value of £3,000 throughout the policy term.
When you’ve reported your claims to our administrators, they’ll pass the information over to our mobile repairers, who will carry out the repair at a time and safe place that is convenient to you. Should a mobile repairer be unachievable you will be notified by the repairer and the administrators will offer you a body shop contribution of up to £250.

Mercedes-Benz Tyre & Alloy Insurance
Please note Mercedes-Benz Insurance Services UK stopped selling Mercedes-Benz Tyre & Alloy Insurance from 31st July 23.
The £25 excess covers the fitting and balancing of the wheel within a dedicated Showroom. They’ll charge the excess at £25 per corner of your vehicle. For example, if you claim for an offside front tyre and a back offside alloy you will be charged £50. However, if you claim for an offside front tyre & alloy you would only be charged £25.
We‘re unable to cover tyres that need to be replaced due to wear and tear or that are not roadworthy. We’ll cover the tyres that are damaged due to accidental or malicious damage.
Under Mercedes-Benz Tyre & Alloy Insurance, we provide you with a remanufactured alloy wheel that meets Mercedes-Benz AG standards. In the event our remanufacturers don’t have stock, you’ll be provided with a new alloy wheel, up to the claims limits outlined in your policy schedule.
