Traction leader.
The transaxle design of the drive system allows a traction-boosting weight distribution of 47% at the front and 53% at the rear. An AMG limited-slip rear-axle differential boosts traction further still, by preventing the inside drive wheel from slipping.
47 / 53
Perfect balance: lighter at the front than at the rear.

The more challenging the corner, the more you appreciate Mercedes-Benz technology. Dry sump lubrication enables a lower centre of gravity and phenomenal lateral dynamics. AMG RIDE CONTROL allows suspension with three levels of adjustment. Downforce-optimised aerodynamics ensure sustained grip at speed, and aluminium construction produces an extremely stiff body, for maximum lateral and longitudinal dynamics and steering precision. The combined result: track-level handling.

The aerodynamic concept of the Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster, developed with motorsport know-how, works in three ways: to increase aerodynamic stability, decrease wind resistance and supply cooling air to all components. An AIRPANEL in the front apron and an extending rear aerofoil actively adjust aerodynamics for any given driving situation.
