AMG bodystyling
The Mercedes-AMG S 63 4MATIC+ Cabriolet also boasts fascinating looks that emphasize its sporty performance - with a completely new front apron design featuring signature AMG radiator grille and jet wing. The three-dimensional air deflector painted in the body colour spans the entire width of the front apron and presents the stylised "A" that is a hallmark of AMG vehicles. The outer cooling air intakes are framed by large black flics. At the bottom, the silver-chrome front splitter guarantees optimum flow of air to the cooling modules.
AMG high-performance compound brake system
Large, internally ventilated and perforated brake disks provide for excellent deceleration. The use of compound technology increases fade resistance and reduces weight. The total weight reduction of around 3 kg lowers the unsprung masses on the wheel, thereby improving the response time of the spring/damper elements.
AMG Performance exhaust system
From typical AMG to restrained, the sound of the AMG Performance exhaust system fully adapts to the currently selected drive program by means of three variably adjustable exhaust gas flaps. The driver can also change the sound characteristics at the press of a button. This standard equipment allows the driver maximum variation of the exhaust sound, from comfortable to highly emotive.

AMG bodystyling
The doors – or the soft top – open up to reveal the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Cabriolet's fascinating luxury interior: the dashboard in wrap-around design blends almost seamlessly into the doors. Impeccably finished select materials combine to perfection with an exclusive sporty design idiom. Fine nappa leather in AMG V8 design with piping and AMG badges on all four backrests and the embossed AMG emblem on the armrest at the front of the centre console conjure up an exquisite atmosphere on board.
AMG Performance steering wheel
Its sporty design and the unique touch and feel make the AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather one of a kind. Touch Control buttons allow intuitive control of most functions. Innovative: the optional AMG steering wheel buttons enable fast and assured control of specific dynamic driving functions. AMG instrument cluster
The 31.2 cm AMG instrument display offers an exciting AMG design and valuable information for the driver in high-resolution colour. Features include an AMG Warm-Up menu and an AMG Set-Up menu. The speedometer has a 330 km/h dial.

AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine.
The new AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine in the AMG S 63 4MATIC+ Coupé delivers an output of 450 kW (612 hp) and 900 Nm of torque. Consistent application of the "AMG Lightweight" Performance strategy also contributes to the vehicle's high
driving dynamics and low fuel consumption. At 3.5 seconds, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is faster than in any other luxury performance cabriolet. The engine features the proven biturbo design in which the two turbochargers are located in the V between the cylinder banks rather than on the outside – an arrangement which specialists refer to as the "hot inside V".
AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G.
The AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G offers ideal support for a particularly dynamic driving style and lends authentic motorsport flair to every trip. Fast, sporty gear changes or comfortable,
barely noticeable shifting, according to the selected driving mode: the 9 gears ensure that the engine is particularly frequently in the ideal speed range.
AMG RIDE CONTROL+.
AMG RIDE CONTROL+ keeps the vehicle fully under control, even when it is pushed to its sporty limits. The air suspension systems is designed for signature AMG high performance and the Adaptive Damping System
responds sensitively to unevenness. It is adjusted separately for each wheel and forms the basis for comfortable, relaxed travel. The sophisticated sensor system of the all-round self-levelling lowers the air suspension at higher speeds and also in the sporty DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs.
AMG Performance 4MATIC+.
The performance-oriented all-wheel drive with fully variable torque distribution combines optimum traction, hallmark AMG driving dynamics and the ultimate in driving enjoyment. It improves driving safety and
road-holding on wet or wintry road surfaces. Thanks to the fully variable torque distribution, the driver benefits from the advantages of all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive in equal measure.
AMG Performance exhaust system.
A special acoustic experience comes courtesy of the selectable AMG Performance exhaust system. The variably adjustable exhaust flaps give you the option to change the sound of the vehicle at the press of a button.
Depending on the drive program, the sound characteristics change from unobtrusive comfort through to maximum emotive appeal.
