    Never before has an E-Class been so systematically designed with driving dynamics in mind. The Mercedes-AMG engine delivers a mighty 612 hp (450 kW) with 850 Nm[1] of torque. In addition, the new AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9-speed transmission with RACE START function provides unparalleled acceleration from a standing start.

    Thanks to its fully-variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system, the E 63 S 4MATIC+ has incredible traction on the road. The drive system also permits drifting if required, and the AMG limited-slip differential rear axle – electronically controlled in the S-Model – complements the all-wheel drive perfectly, ensuring outstanding cornering performance.

    The dynamic AMG engine mounts provide support, depending on the driving situation. They remain stiff during lateral acceleration to give more direct steering. When driving straight ahead they are soft, thereby giving maximum comfort.

    For maximum braking performance, an optional AMG ceramic high-performance composite braking system is available.
