Stuttgart/Wroclaw - Mercedes-Benz wins another large order in Poland. The Wroclaw transport operators are expanding their fleet by a further 60 urban buses with a star. The Mercedes-Benz Citaros are produced in the EvoBus plant in Mannheim and will be delivered to the customer by February 2018. The order is the second large order from Poland in a very short period of time. In June 2017 the Warsaw transport operators ordered 80 Mercedes-Benz Conectos for the Polish capital.
Mercedes-Benz urban buses have already been driving on the streets of Wroclaw since 2008. In the meantime, 100 Citaro buses are in the fleet of the urban transport operators. From 2018, 60 new units will be added, 20 of which as solo buses and 40 as articulated buses, which will offer space for over 145 passengers. All vehicles correspond to the latest exhaust technology as per Euro VI and offer the customers the lowest fuel consumption and most minimal emissions.
