Stuttgart - With its Christmas Travego Mercedes-Benz drew plenty of attention and received a great positive reception last year. Strikingly decorated with Christmas motifs and light chains, the Travego was on the road around four weeks carrying out charity projects for Bavarian coach customers. In order to continue the charity character of the campaign, Mercedes-Benz has now turned the Christmas Travego into a Winter-Travego. The vehicle will be operating until the beginning of March, 2017. This will allow more customers the opportunity to use the coach for their own personal social project. In addition the area of operation will be expanded to encompass all the German Federal States.
The white luxury coach is decorated all-round with an adhesive foil displaying wintertime motifs and with a grand total of 135 metres of LED fairy lights on its body. The light system can show different programmes and is controlled from the luggage compartment. The driver can switch the twinkling lights on and off. Red, green and blue can be switched on individually or paired up at will. The Winter Travego is available for bus operators to rent for their very own charity projects. Whether it's a kindergarten trip to the skating rink or an excursion to the Christmas Market for a rural women association – the possibilities are manifold and all that is required is that it serve a good cause. Interested parties can refer to their sales representative directly; organisation and operational planning will be taken care of by the South Sales Office.
