Schubert Touristik, certified and "TOP tour operator" from Germany, gets eleven new Mercedes-Benz touring coaches. The renewed acquisition of eight Mercedes-Benz Travegos and two Tourismos reflects the quality-oriented company philosophy. On 27 March, the vehicles were handed over by Thomas Busch, Mercedes-Benz Bus and Coach unit sales representative, to Mike Schubert, CEO of Schubert Touristik GmbH.
As one of the few tour operators in Germany and the only one in Saxony-Anhalt, Schubert Touristik GmbH was certified as a "TOP tour operator" in 2016 for the third time in a row. And not for nothing: the certificate, awarded by the insolvency insurance specialist tourVERS and the renowned consulting and testing company Rödl & Partner, is given exclusively to tour operators with above average tourism and economic performance. Amongst other things, it assesses quality features, which also ultimately include the carriage of passengers with buses that have top-class safety equipment.
With the goal of also attaining and exceeding the high demands in future, Schubert Touristik purchased the eight Travego Ms and two Tourismos. The new fleet replaces already renowned Mercedes-Benz Tourismos and therefore simultaneously the newest and most state-of-the-art touring coach fleet in Saxony-Anhalt. It differentiates itself, above all, with its comprehensive safety features. The new touring coaches have security systems such as Electronic Stability Programme ESP, Acceleration Skid Control (ASR) and Active Brake Assist 3 (ABA 3) as well as the assist systems Distance Control (ART), Brake Assist (BAS), Lane Assist (SPA), Attention Assist (AtAs), Cornering Light, Reversing Camera and Reverse Signal.
